Wow that was an awesome start-I didn't know what direction it was heading but it really built up the anticipation-I hope this isn't another manga that builds up the drama and tension only to rush the ending and fuck the whole thing up-I'm hoping this updates fast-it if have known it was gonna hook me like this I would have waited to read till a couple of chapters built up-oh well it doesn't look like I'll be able to wait when new chapters come out cause I've been well hooked

New to a blended family, affectionate younger stepbrother, Yuuto, falls for his sophisticated gay older stepbrother, Ryuusei, and does his best to repress his feelings for the sake of their family. The plot revolves mainly around misunderstandings and communication failure, but it's a good story and plausible given the ages of the two main characters.

It was good but i m disappointed that seme ryu lost love once but didn't get into any serious relationship all story revolves around uke thoughts and insecurities the way uke used behave with seme all cuty Bros aren't siblings usually fighting and not lovey dovy but i remember i didn't read it before cuz of boring stuff that took long for them to go and those other story seme sensie also come in when he said how about we take you to police when ryu kissed uke , that was hella funny but these semes are really kind to their uke feels like mangaka took consent word seriously in her stories and i liked it that's why story took long time to go cuz seme were concern for other part response to do anything although it's good i m happy i read it finally uke also says some weird stuff man making me hella embarrassed i had to stop time to time like wtf is he sayin! But it worth the time .

Raised by a hard working single mother, a middle-schooler suddenly finds himself with a new family when she remarries a wealthy business man with a handsome college-aged son. After accidentally walking in on his older brother having sex with a man, he becomes smitten and, as the years pass and he grows into a college-aged adult himself, he finds it harder and harder to hide his feelings.

I realize that this kind of story belongs to a certain genre of yaoi (one that I generally don't read), but setting that aside it is beautiful and poignant. While it certainly flirts with the brother x brother taboo, since they were not really raised as brothers (and certainly are not related by blood) there isn't that much of an incest-y vibe to the story at all. The story is from the point of view of the younger brother, and any residual creepiness is dispelled by the fact that he realizes his feelings from the first.

He is one of the most interesting main characters I've read in a manga: having had to pretend to be strong for his hard working mother for so long, he is a character who is from a young age painfully aware of the importance of maintaining the happiness of others and the consequence his feelings for his brother could have for his family. In spite of this, far from being a melancholic or duty-bound character, his effusiveness is blended seemlessly with both his maturity and his ability to dissemble. This story really is a treat; even if you, like me, would not normally seek out a story that seemingly flirts with incest, this is worth a read. Absolutely no rape/dubcon (nothing starts until he is a 19 year old college student).

This is NOT ONLY the friend's story from Koi ni Nare, BUT ALSO a wholesome manga on it's own. Definitely one of my top five.

Arghhhh I love this one. I have read it twice so far. Both characters are so likable and the older brother is hot hot hot. The author also knew when to push and when to give the reader space. This was so pleasant to read, and the translation is clean.

So nice! An author who can write characters that feel different and real. The younger brother has a sense of humor and mischief that's really fun.

I can't believe this is 8 chapters. It's good but it's a bit dragging. I was casually reading when I realized it's a spinoff of Koi Ni Nare - the roommate of Komatsu, the one who set up the date, Nakajima! I like this better than Koi Ni Nare though. I just wish they ahve more chapters post relationship like how about the parents?

i just can't with people who is disgusted by this kind of dynamic. they're not blood related for fuck's sake how is that immoral???

anyway, i love the story and the angst is just perfect for my taste!!
