considering that this is made in the 90's, this 'shotacon' joke did not age well. I hate Sugiura sensei for that, but can't blame her for it considering the year, ig. the thing is, author is doing a 'joke' saying Blood (demon mc) is a shotacon or ped*, because that 1 single fucking page where he look at memories from Ishuca house and saw small Ishuca, from the reaction he find small Ishuca cute (bc its Ishuca), and its cute as in looking at normal child and say 'how cute'. Not looking at small Ischuca inappropriately. tf is with this weird ass joke?! Like, after that 1 scene, author started to occasionally make that same joke saying "Blood will never admit he's a shotacon". I tried to ignore it. AND THEN the artbook, author bring it up again!! saying "Blood is a ped*?" motherfucker this is not okay. I love this character why author gotta do that joke. fucking hell!

I've been re-reading this many times, but this is a first re-read again after like, 7 years or something and pretty much experiencing reading this like a new manga again. And also the first time I notice about that stupid joke by author.

From this author…..again SO long. Still very good. I had some doubts to start but the majority after that was great. At the end just seemed like endless conflict plot twists.

I liked the first half much more (up to meeting seethe, before red light district sub arc). They don't kiss in the latter half :,( and the final arc gets drawn out. but overall an enjoyable read! plus, Blood is gorgeous. (Also considering the fact that it was published in 1996! Beyond decent for its time :3)
