Surprisingly Deep and Messed Up at the same time

I loved the way the author depicted the characters. but i really hate akane. i don't know why but even after her marriage with sensei she didn't change herself. after having a kid i wish she will change for better . for better or worse i wonder why hanabi had to end up with mugi. she deserves the world. what happened to astuya. please have a better ending for him.

this really upsets me, not just because they don’t end up together, but because my want for them to be together shouldn’t be there!! mugi is a little piece of shit, (you could argue most of them are, akane especially) who LEFT hanabi there alone, even after realizing that there was no hope for his first love;
it’s obvious that this manga is twisted, but what makes it so controversial is that it portrays the dark side of many relationships, some people like homewrecking, some love people that don’t love them back, and some are dating bc they just don’t want to be alone. in all honesty, kuzu no honkai was just ahead of its time… doesn’t mean it’s the best though, still upset over the ending

I freaking knew they could have been together in the end. But instead choose to go seprate ways after realizing that they truely did love each other. To me it seems they are still searching and not realizing that they were perfect for each other. I also did not realize that this series continued.

this is an absolute hurricane of a read, there is so much drama and conflict going on that it can be hard to dictate what is happening at times but nonetheless, very realistic and representative of real life circumstances.
the anime adaptation of this series left the ending pretty much open for interpretation but the manga has a strong sense of closure which broke my heart.

honestly very conflicted with this manga, im glad that mugi and hanabi didnt end up together though. i know some ppl see at as "them giving up because their love interests are already taken" but i disagree. mugi and hanabi have already accepted that they are never going to be together with their first love interest, and its clearly shown that mugi and hanabi realized that they actually fell in love with each other instead.

now to those who wanted mugi and hanabi to get together, no they shouldnt. at least not now (i read the sequel and i believe they can get together then) their relationship is born out of toxicity. if they get into relationship with that kind of beginning, it'll only end in despair. this isnt some simple hook-up, they used each other as coping mechanisms. they offered their bodies to the person they arent even in love with. what they need to do is separate fron each other, and learn the value of self-love. because from what i got from the series, hanabi loved her sensei narumi so much, and mugi loved akane so much. they love them so much that they werent able to leave some love for themselves.

still this series still conflicts me, there are a lot of moments that i find so unnecessary. and i've never been into a relationship so idk shit if this is really what toxic love sometimes can be. i'll give this a 6.5/10.

also, akane should go to jail. i get shes a hoe but at least be hoe to men that are the same age as you, leave mugi alone that boy is a HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT be fucking for reallllll
