It was a spur of the moment marriage. The ML, a movie director, wanted a convenient wife and for some reason the FL, a nurse, went along with it. Once married, it got tiring how often he told her she was being selfish if she resisted his efforts to mold her into an obedient 'as needed' wife and pilant arm candy. He had some background trauma, but it was mosty his ego-centric, stubborn pride that was the issue. It became a 'you don't know what you had until you've lost it' story and it takes losing an arm to get her back, but you see growth in both characters and a great improvement in their communication and self-expression skills by the end which bodes well for their future. Another thing I liked was the absence of BBV (Bed Before Vows), although as fast as they got married, there hardly time to be even be tempted.
The ml was a cunt tbh. And wtf is up with the fl? How stupid can she be. She marries some random guy she doesn't even really know then has a cry when she realises he doesn't love her. ok.
