The ending was unexpected..it felt out of place
Especially because the alternative ending came before the actual ending.. the impact just wasn’t there

Gorgeous art!! The characters are genuine and they act how teenagers ought to. Amazing story, I respect the author's choice obvs stories go either 3 ways right happy, sad or ambiguous ending but this endingggggg ugggghhhhhhhh a happy ending is good too come on x'OOOOOO x'<<<< 1 of the saddest endings I've read ever x'OOOO

☣The story was good, a little slow to get going, but the end is super sad & a shock. It’s actually more of a ShounenAi than Yaoi as well. Overall I felt disappointed, there were a lot of parts where characters didn’t fully come though (both MCs & extras) & though they often spoke of love, it didn’t feel like it. The only parts where the characters came through strongly for me is in the sad end, though it’s not hard to hold a readers interest & give an emotional response through this kind of tragedy, perhaps it is what this Mangaka is better at. I just hope the tragic part—being so sudden & all— wasn’t attached to the end so that readers would finish reading in a more emotionally moved state & therefore be left with more positive reviews of the piece (patching a ok story with a cookie cutter tragic end to make the story seem better).
☣㎰. A point about the girlfriend & her friends — I truly hope that was all satire in a vain attempt at comedy—that behaviour is pathetic, immature & illegal. I was embarrassed on behalf of all women kind. It’s also part of the reason that the boys didn’t seem real—there’s no way that a boy who cares so much about what his friends think that he didn’t want them to even know they had become step-brothers, wouldn’t have more of a problem with that photo, or at least a more shocked reaction.
High school delinquent Mura must put up with the annoying presence of new stepbrother Subaru when his mother goes away on honeymoon. Dealing with gossip at school is bad enough, but Mura's life is turned upside down by a forbidden locker-room kiss and the publication of an incriminating photo snapped by BL fangirls.

It was all fun and games until the last two chapters, but it was still a very good manga that made me not just laugh but also cry, so I'm very happy and sad that I read this. (style reminded of banana fish look )

This manga made my heart flutter, blush and smile but it also made me cry. My eyes were already puffy from kidney problems, but it made me bawl and grieve for what could've been!! I kind of regret reading this and getting so invested in the story... because it absolutely broke my heart.
Reality is already harsh and painful, but why did fiction have to be this sad too??!!! I wish the mangaka would make an alternate ending!!! I want them together!!!

I enjoyed this. I don't know whether it's suitable for a reread or not but has a serious, sad and mould breaking ending. I have to admit to being smitten with this particular author. I will look at more of her works

Honestly, I wish the manga had ended with chapter 12. I would have been satisfied with that. After having read the extra chapter 13, ... I broke down .... the tragedy was just too much to bear. (T_T) The art is very beautiful, btw.
