Story is about an assassin who, to save his sister from leaving his lover, decides to search for marriage to produce an heir to his family of assasins. (Read up to chapter 40)
The story hooks you from the first chapter, the MC is lovable, has a good motivation and all his action scenes and op power are great to see. The art is also a highlight and the marriage swindler (a secondary protagonist) is funny, full of surprises, and acts as a catch all to fill all the weak points of the MC. The rest of the cast is lovable as well, they each have their own "Personality trait" and the story doesn't do much to get them out of it, but they manage to function well within their roles, Including bringing to the table some real emotional moments or "lessons" for the protagonist to grow as a person. Basically! If you're looking for a run of the mill shonen (sticks very close to the genre) in which the guy steadily collects a friend-harem, shows off his cool powers, and grows a bit as a person, then go for it. But: 1. BIG WARNING, no, it's not shonen ai, it's a shonen, so don't read it expecting to see two dudes in love because (sadly) it's not what this story is about. 2. IMO, the best chapter is the first one, and the manga is at its best when It's not trying to introduce as many love interests as it can and has time to breathe. At the middle of the story where I stopped reading, the thing about his sister is not even mentioned anymore, it's on the back while the main mission is "Protagonist cool, and good, he gets more ladies" And tbh, I expected his sister to be a bigger part of the story, be more relevant please!! Last but not least, my hot take is that his chemistry with the girls is not even close to the one he has with the marriage swindler, so it saddens me to see them interact less and less as the story progresses, when a far more (maybe predictable but who cares) yet interesting development would be if he actually fell for the marriage swindler and had to find a way to save his and his sister's true love relationships or scape his grandmother's control.
Proably onr of the best stories I've read. Omag everything about it is perfect, the characters, dialouge, plot and art are all mind-blowing. Even the powers are creative and have so much thought put into them. Hamster girl , she's so cute and honestly relatable and I hope she can become better and stronger and just more confident. Each character is filled with love and you can tell they were made very carefully and thoughtfully. Everyone needs to read the absolute masterpiece. I cannot wait until there is more chapters because it is so fucking amazing. 100/10
I left this open in my tabs without reviewing it for weeks. Whoops. I really love this manga and it's quickly become a favorite of mine. I can't tell if it's meant to be gay... like, the moments between the MC and the guy from the very beginning are just so shoujo-like that it's ridiculous. The action, the plot, the art, the story... It's all incredible. Definitely recommend.
