2.5 This series is actually pretty darn annoying. I've read Ouran High School Club, and, while it was flawed in parts, it definitely had its merits. This series has no of the aforementioned merits, and, instead, serves as a chronicle of all the mistakes a potentially good mangaka can make when first starting out. The expository "whisper" notes on the side of speech bubbles were especially annoying and overused.

Seventeen-year-old Chiyuki Matsuoka was born with heart problems, and her doctors say she won't live to see the next snow. Touya is an 18-year-old vampire who hates blood and refuses to make the traditional partnership with a human, whose life-giving blood would keep them both alive for a thousand years.

It's a bit cringe and cliche how almost every next chapter some major incident happens and somehow, it's solved in that same one chapter. Then the next chapter, another incident. I couldn't really take in the flow of the story that much. But either way, no matter how many times I wanted to dropped it I didn't. It was a fun read.

Slow paced and a little boring, but attractive characters and a really good supernatural romance manga.

Plot is a bit messy. I had high expectations because of Ouran no High School Club. Each volume seems like author is not sure when the story will end and how to go there.

I really wanted to enjoy this series as I'm a big fan of the authors other work, Ouran Highschool Host Club, but this series just wasn't very good and the ending seemed rushed and off?

a childhood shoujo of mine that i treasure a lot

Throughout the whole story this vile has been between the lines of life and death but the vampire she met saved her and as they stayed with each other feeling developed. But keep in mind she is on the risk of death and it can happen anytime even if he did save her once.

I found it rather boring. Couldn't get into it at all. Maybe i've gotten to old for this type of manga. Or maybe i've been reading too much yaoi. Either way it's a sweet story but nothing too engaging.
