Great combination of good story & beautiful art which resulted in an A+ manga. A prostitute whose only knowledge of being able to live in this world is to sell his body. Sad. But it's all right now, since there's someone to tell him that "It's not okay" ⟫ MODS > Nights Before Night (Haru's story) 2018: Edit: A scanlator picked it the sequel. Online reader on the site. http://online.seraphic-deviltry.com/manga/nights-before-night. UPDATE: OMFG FINISHED
Didn't enjoy coz of the prostitution, old disgusting geezers and rape things like that being mentioned but its a good read, the charas personality and their compatibility w each other, its nice, but damn shigure-san rip you're a good man F and glad shiro found his warmth already, he's so stubborn mygoodness just stay by your hubbies side
Tora is an ordinary server at a Japanese bar and restaurant until his sister is fleeced by a pyramid scheme and he helps her out by accepting a job for a brothel keeper, as chauffeur and bodyguard to Shiro, a male prostitute with a taste for rough trade. Tora turns out to be surprisingly good at his job, but he's just in it for a quick buck, and certainly has no intention to feel anything for this train wreck of a client. Unfortunately, he's a soft touch for the hard cases and Shiro knows how to wind him up and tightly around his very sticky fingers. Gritty and hardcore with a noir feeling to it.
Omg, this story is really interesting! It has the right level of conflict and fun parts. I also love the characters in this story! I also like the mangaka's art style!
Overall a pretty good story about former yakuza turned driver and a male prostitute with predictabley low self esteem. Subject is heavy, but treatment felt a little melodramatic at times, maybe some developments seemed absurd or rushed between the romantic leads. In contrast, the relationship between the young Shiro and his savior and benefactor, Shigure, was really poignant and touching. That dream sequence at the end, where Shigure basically gives Shiro his blessing to move forward, is deceptively simple and powerful.
