The story of several dumb lesbians some malicious lesbians and a dumbass straight girl the perfect combination to make you want to jump into oncoming traffic..... The author is a sadist with how some of these characters are dragged in shit. Also with one of the characters reactions to facing something just made me mad. If you wanna read something that pisses you off with how this author adds more unnecessary drama than needed and no romance just pain. Don't recommend this manga is just blender full of nails waiting to shred up you feelings with idiotic characters and a stupid story, also some dude said this was realistic in some terms and that just made me think "welp why are humans even alive if some actually have acted and experienced what has happened in this shit storm of a story...." but just yeah nah the story feels like a kick to the shin and then having the bible read to you back to front backwards. Straight girl just pisses me the fuck off with how she knows and says this nice shit but then is just like but as punishment imma be a cunt to her but act like it's a punishment for me, this whole series is just a pineapple up the ass.
I don't usually read Yuri manga, but this one gave me a pleasant surprise. The depiction of same sex love and the like seemed genuine and was super interesting to read! I enjoyed the depiction of some of the realities and the little difficulties members of the LGBT community face in Japan. It isn't overly exaggerated, but is made clear as something that exists and shouldn't be judged as something wrong. The manga has it's fluffy moments, but the little struggles the girls experience in their journey of self-discovery and self-acceptance was very touching. I especially enjoyed reading Mika's thoughts on same-sex relationships and feel that I can relate, as a closeted gay (young) man. Mayu and her brother are really cute characters, not to say that the other main characters aren't. I definitely would like to see a spinoff featuring Mayu's brother and maybe a continuation of the manga as a whole, expanding on Mayu and Saki's respective pursuits for love and the progression of Takako's relationship with Yui.
THIS IS SO AWESOME! A MUST READ. PLEASE. DO YOURSELF THE FAVOR AND READ THIS. IT'S SUPER GOOD. Sometimes Yuri has no profound plot, but this manga has such amazing subtlety and introspective themes. Check out this one page that talks about loving the same gender; a conversation between a gay girl and a gay guy: http://www.mangago.me/read-manga/omoi_no_kakera/mh/c003/16/ As a bisexual, this page really bluntly makes me love me for me.
