"I couldn't hear his voice, but the inaudible cries echoed in my heart, and it somehow became painful for me, too." Ichikawa-sensei is a f***ing genius writer. Not only did the character feel it, but she was able to make the reader feel it, too. I sobbed with him. That was such a powerful moment in such a short story. And yet it's like a really mellow, easy read when you go through the whole thing. Both her art style and her story-telling style are so unique, I absolutely love her and always appreciate her work. <3
A strange event when a new resident moves in! What kind of person is that transparent guy? He appears sometimes on the new resident's veranda. Doesn't he seem like a ghost?
this was really interesting! for such a short story, i already got so intrigued like wow? would have liked if there was more but just this is actually good enough too bc it won't really leave you hanging however, it'll leave your interest piqued
