Since I live in South Asia, this felt like great representation of our culture. These are Pakhtuns, their clans, if I'm assuming right since I'm a Pakhtun myself. and all the information mentioned here is very accurate, especially the selfless generous nature of the people, and the way they would fight over having guests stay at their house. This is so reminiscent of village life. I'm very familiar with all of this, especially the dishes mentioned in Ch.16. In fact, I'm eating Pulao (Pilaf) right now. This is such a good read and I'm having so much fun showing this to my family too. The bonds between the families and the treatment they show everyone. This is so accurateeee. not as accurate nowadays, but in some rare areas, you'll see these traditions still alive and kicking, especially in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and villages in these respective areas and India. I'm from Pakistan, and we have a lot of these central Asian culture here. South Asia is exactly the same. Love this Manga.
It's so good, I can't believe I finished it already there's so many stories going on so I'd prob continue reading as it updates so I don't forget.
That said, I'm kinda sad that Henry didn't get to meet Amir and Karluk :( I was looking forward to them taking picture but it can't be helped ig..I hope we get to see Henry and his wife's life in England. Looks like he comes from a wealthy family, his dad's in parliament apparently. Also looking forward to Pariya and Umar's wedding!
Overall, 10/10!! Very interesting to see their customs and traditions!
