I really love kemono series the art is a bit .... Though the story is top notch

I hate Kaoru. I used to like him in past volume but in this, he is so much more horrible. He didn't change at all. He keeps bringing up his past with Ian in front of Manabu. Like, why? You already have a lover and if you are doing it as a revenge or just to piss Manabu, then you are indeed a trash. He's also acting like he didn't deliberately making Manabu feel like shit. Fuck you. I also hate Ian. I know he is not obliged to reciprocate Manabu's feelings, but he shouldn't be acting like that. I feel like they're taking Manabu as a joke. I also hate Manabu. He is pitiful, so weak, so easy that makes me wanna punch his face. I hate everyone in this volume except Daigou, Saijou and Kazuki. They're the only likeable characters here.

When you read "classic bl" style after so long and remember why yaoi hands was a thing.

This is my favorite couple out of Fujisaki Kou's series. Others have complained about the uke being too self-deprecating, but I think it makes sense considering why he got the job in the first place and how many years he had to see this person be with others and almost end up in a genuine relationship with one of them, not to mention that person is seen as his better in every way. Granted he did that to himself, but his reasons are pure and unselfish, and when he resigns, he doesn't throw anyone under the bus because he actually cares about the work he does above his feelings.

I guess that's why I like the uke. He may be self-deprecating but he's a pretty pure guy who is diligent because despite his feelings, he still put his work first. So in a way, what he lacks compared to that other guy, he makes up for it with his selflessness. He just put too much emphasis on "less".

Kaoru haven't learned his lesson yet. Lmao even if they're meeting for work, he should at least tell Daigo.
