I was disapointed with this manga. I love sport stories, but for some reason I couldn t get in this one. Not enough background on characters, no empathy possible, didn t know what ryoma was after except winning at tennis... so much that I gave up after 250 chapters..

One of my favorite manga ever

The first chapter is so

Ch 294 - nationals: Doubles match with Eiji and Oishi [perfect duo+ secret in synchro move] against Hyoutei [in lead with 8-7]
Goal: Win Nationals

It is slightly different from the anime. The story order makes so much sense now.
But the anime is more fun ^^

the number of chapters scare me each time ...
