OK wtf, this one had so many issues: 1. Why was her history as a supermodel such a shock to ML? Isn't that also a profession, it's not like she is a runaway convict. 2. How is ML a billionaire when his everyday life involves running random errands? When does he manage his companies? 3. Why was the ML going around begging for funding for his NGO when is a billionaire, had resources and Connections to contact people and hire a whole workforce to do it for him?
It’s cute. Both leads are strong, but have their vulnerabilities and all the characters around them are pushing them in the right direction. Sadly, BBV (Bed Before Vows) was a part of that direction when this story really didn’t need it. Other than that, the story was fun and enjoyable.
Kind of cute, but Holy Crap he was dumb. How in the world do all these Harlequin MLs with the IQ of a houseplant become multi-billionaires? One of life’s great mysteries. And who in the living HELL decided that not telling everyone your life history is total betrayal? That has to be one of the dumbest tropes I’ve ever come across. The only person who could think that way has to be selfish to the point of total narcissism.
