The art is impeccable. The character yuu is actually sooo relatable in the way he overthinks things. Just him getting lost in his thoughts and overexaggerating certain situations is so me. The way majority of this manga was just him beating himself up over not taking courage and just fighting himself and his ideals is so interesting to me because it just reminds me so much of myself and like i admire him so so much for taking a step forward and finally conveying his feelings. Coz knowing me i would keep it all in til the very end and then id probably explode. I need to find me an asa honestly. I love them and this art is beautiful.
The mangaka seems to like to write poetically. However, this was probably, not sure tho, not translated well. This was a slow burn but you kinda get easily where this was headed. There were confusing panels and sometimes there was disconnect in the line of thought and dialogue of the characters. Maybe it could have been better presented simply and straightforwardly.
The art was amazing but the plot not so. I'm sorry but it's just so confusing. I agree with the comments saying that it might have been better as a novel or that they wouldn't end up together (things started with angst so ig that's why)
I... I was confused the whole time. Is there a prequel to this? Did I miss something? There was a lot of poetic...ness in this one that kinda obscured the meaning of... anything? everything? The only way we know theres two characters are in love is because they're in a BL, otherwise I wasnt feeling it. They barely talk ever. Also the MC suddenly brings up their mothers at the end and I still dont know why?
I either missed everything or the story sucked at conveying its meaning
I feel like the pacing would’ve been great had it been a couple chapters longer, like they’re connection felt flat and lacked depth even through the beautiful writing and emotions displayed it’s weird to say idk
It's a little too complex to read, I get that author was trying to show how hard the feelings were but it makes the manga difficult to read at some points. That apart, it was interesting
this manga made me realize that slowburn doesn't work when there's such a limited amount of chapters. chapters 1-3 felt too liminal. i appreciate introspection but the translation unfortunately didn't make it engaging enough, and felt off at times. however, there were a few interesting concepts i enjoyed, such as the mothers' relationship. i almost feel like my opinion will greatly improve if i reread this sometime in the future.
It's okay... kinda bland? The art is v good but none of the characters were likeable in a sense that they didn't have much personality and not like I hate them...
