Nice enough oneshot, although it doesn't quite achieve the level of pathos and sadness one might hope from a story with this premise. Worth a read, if with a somewhat lackluster execution.
Hiroto returns to his hometown for his father's funeral, after 15 years in Tokyo. Everything reminds him of Jin, who confessed to him when he finished high school. Hiroto rejected him and left for Tokyo right after. His regret of rejecting Jin still haunts him in the form of nightmares where he sees Jin drown in the sea in front of his eyes. On that sleepless night, Jin appears in front of him. Will they get a chance to say everything that have left unsaid? It's a full on tear-jerker condensed into a single chapter. Definitely worth the read but keep some tissues handy.
