If I was FL I would never trust ML again!!! After their first kiss and ML knew about his feeling for FL and she loved him he betrayed her and married another woman!! I’m glad he had a terrible wife and him suffered for 12 years and I wish FL would date someone else in front of him bc he doesn’t deserve happiness!!
Wow! Was the ML constitutionally incapable of being sincere? He was also as freaking stupid as it gets. He falls right into his mother’s revenge trap, marrying her co-conspirator “since people recommended it.” He obviously had a lot of trauma, the latter part of which was in great part due to his own stupidity. It doesn’t excuse the fact that he was busting himself in an all out effort to seduce a girl who loves him and for whom he has no desire at the time to return her love. Psychologically, this dude was a hot, wet mess. My father was right on point when he said that one should never go to bed with someone who has more problems than you do. It’s similar to what Mark Twain said about arguing with the ignorant: they’ll drag you down to their level and beat you to death with experience. On another note: what the hell is it with all these female friends and relatives pushing a girl into dating 24 and 7. Girls: date if you want, don’t if you’re not interested, and tell these nosey Parkers to blow it out their barracks bags!
