Comments of Someone else's BL Manhwa

This is interesting. There's more of a focus on the secondary characters than the person who was presented as the main character, though, which I find weird. The secondary character thing usually follows a format, like that shit gets shown later, after you've become invested in the main character. SOOOOO don't be too disappointed while you're reading, the characters themselves have pretty interesting personalities and relationship dynamics. No cookie-cutter "nice (boring) guys" to be found, which I find awesome. Lmao

At first i thought the story was fun cause the MC was interesting enough, but then, the story switched to the side characters. The MC didnt look like the main character anymore. There were lots of plot twists but the flow of story kinda bit boring for me. Of course, im just speaking for myself. Anyways, i tried to give this a chance but it’s really not for me so i had to stop at chap 60. :(

Kyubin appears as the self loving oddball ..but is really nice guy..A really good friend & a protective lover .. Omg he saved Seung-taek's ass by taking on the blame twice just for love..
Seung-hee has his insecurities but so glad he is not a lame ass ..
Seung-taek & Kyubin these two idiotic friends are fun to be around ..& that both have crush on each other..But Seung-taek is trying to ignore it but Kyubin is not...& they behaves like they don't know each other in class while they are best friends then lovers when alone was all due to Seung-taek 'd mom's issue

a boy goes on a forum online for gay men only, so he can go on dates with them in drag. on one date he is caught by the class president and class bully, who uses his secret to blackmail him, while the president tries to save him. turns out the president and the bully are in love but can't confess to each other so they need this cross dressing teen to push them along. meanwhile, the cross dresser becomes friends with an older man he meets on the forum and is kind of in love with him.

??? are we not going to discuss the pedophile???????? and the hypocrisy with beating someone up for sexually abusing you (a kiss) while you were unconscious but also having done the same to your sleeping friend??? and maybe it's a translation error but at the beginning it sounds like they're saying crossdressing is a sexuality, which it isn't... it doesn't inherently have anything to do with it. also the mc didn't feel weird about the homophobic sex in the city joke near the beginning of the story? like yes, we find out it was clearly just some shitty joke as the character that made it is lgbt, but the normal reaction is to at least be like "mmm i hope you're not straight and saying that..." right??? i get that mc was also concerned about being outed, but would homophobia not be on your mind? that's weird.

more on the pedophile: mc is illegal in korea. but, law isn't what leads my morals. so mc being 18 and a 2nd year high schooler isn't really what bothers me. what DOES bother me is that that old pervy dude is so EXCITED that he was able to get the youngest he possibly could without legal consequences and keeps saying "i like em young <3" like... it isn't LEGAL reasons that makes you a pedophile. it's MORAL and LOGICAL reasons. so this dude is STILL a pedophile even if 18 may be a moral (although not legal in korea) age.

anyways, point is, there's some times in which this manhwa seems to be really progressive but at other points really hypocritical and strange. i'm gonna drop this just because it's getting weird, although there are a ton of things that i artistically and literature-wise love about this. i feel that there are just some huge discrepancies getting ignored here.

also, the characters make stupid choices sometimes that the author does not address as stupid choices. like, it makes sense that they might do stupid shit like that, it's just... the author doesn't go "yeah thats stupid and that's a point for character development" they just are silent.

i'm having trouble understanding why people are so upset lol are yall immune to the concept of having more than one MC? seungtaek and kyubin aren't rlly side characters lol stop saying they are. they're so important to the story and seunghee's end love interest is more of a side character than they are. i would argue seunghee, seungtaek, and kyubin are the 3 main characters, and seeing seungtaek's + kyubin's stories and pasts first is important to kickstarting + understanding seunghee's growth. it wouldn't make sense story wise nor would it have been good for seunghee as a character if he found love first. anyways this was fantastic and absolutely one of the best things i've ever read.

SIDE COUPLE OMG BEST COUPLE I DONT RLLY GET MAIN COUPLE SO RANDOM BUT ANYWAYS KYUBIN BEST CHARACTER AND THIS MANHWA GAVE ME A HEADACHE WITH THE BACKSTORIES SO GET UR EMOTIONAL ROLLER COASTER READY

honestly the main character and his love interest didnt really have that much chemistry imo like

(spoilers) but i think he has wayyyy more chemistry with his cousin

"Oh hey they're gonna get together- wait no their just friends- wait wait wait they're dating- Wait hold on!" - Basicly me while reading this so far. It's amazing at flipping at your expectations so I'd 100% recommend to anyone.

Let me just say that I like the second couple better than the first. The first one was messy and tiresom, way too much for my liking, but that's just my opinion. I like the second couple way better, maybe because I like the characters better as well. Idk. Great read tho. A looooot of textXD

i think the second couple got a long time for develop their history and this made the main character "lose importance", but now that their history is finally happening i think the autor will focus on the main character now. I like this bl, give this a chance, the main character is so interesting. the crossdressing is not something that will keep happening.

Hmmm.. this had a very different plot line than the normal BLs that you’d usually see. Err.. well I was quite shocked to see the side couple get together before the main one (personally I think the side couple is cuter). This BL had some drama, but overall it ended pretty well. Of course, I feel pretty sad saying goodbye to the characters LOL. A thing I was confused about was why the main character just dropped the cross dressing? It kind of just got forgotten in the story. That’s all tho. Both couples are cute~
