I actually think the plot was over after the first 5 chapters…
This was… umm. Don’t take it seriously. More of a comedic relief more than plot… had the most cliche, horrible plot, comedic? Because wtf was this. One, it started off cool, they are detectives that investigate drug crimes etc. They they have each others back! Then the plot drifts off into them having to act like lovers because they want a watch and money… then they kiss and that’s when they realize it wasn’t so bad! But guess what they still on the job even if they have hard ons, so then after they solve that case. They actually have to be a couple for another mission. Once they realized they liked each other they fuck ( didn’t show the scene ) and every single second after was about them hooking up and dating… like?! Where is the plottt… then they say they are trying to hide their relationship but is open everywhere with it?!? In the begging it was cool because I thought there would be tension…because I liked the dynamic… but then it became… not so much. Like this was actually a waste of time.

DETECTIVE AHHH BUT IT HASNT BEEN UPDATING SO IM NOT RISKING IT

I would read more but this has a pacing issue, plus they added smut yet all of the interesting parts (foreplay, talking, etc.) are cut out
I do enjoy the plot still, I don't need smut to like it - the only issue is the fact that they had this sexual tension that was forced upon them every single time they had a mission
The author's clear intent to make them have sex or get together made it almost boring, as when they finally get together (early on), that's... really all that happens
The plot is nonexistent, nothing is explained well, and it overall doesn't have any substance to it, which is why I am confused the smut is cut out so greatly if there is hardly any plot
Altogether, this is much better than most of my reviews of badly written BLs. the sexual tension is intense and I appreciate the way it is shown.

This is honestly a really great story. Definitely needs to go back to being updated!
