I really liked the first story. It wasn't a happy one particularly, but it was cleverly written with the running metaphor of 'flavours' and hunger and so on, and the ending made sense when you apply that metaphor. I also feel like Haru needed to learn he couldn't live off of only a 'sweet' or a 'bitter' flavour alone in love, and that he had to work to create something he was satisfied with - meaning he had to actually work at his relationship with Akio. The following stories I didn't pay much attention to, though.
Should be rated higher. I guess this is too adult for some. Or people just want cliche happy ending and fluff all the time. Step out of the box. This is good stuff.
Those last two were like cliffhanger after cliffhanger. Like did he run over the ppl or what did he have to save him from. All these questions, all that drama. Need more.
Very very good storys!! Love it The Story about Akio and this Oni-san.... f**k it´s really sad and haru doesn´t get the love from whom he loves..... The Second Story i don´t really get it I think about to read it again... The last Story is a kinda of difficult I feelt sorry for them But in all good Stoory´s It didn´t always need a Happy End<33
Like the mature approach of the first story. Trying to work out your crumbling life, something that's not been told a lot. Because sometimes bad people are not bad from the start, they also deserve some kind of good ending themself. Also the good looking guy story, I really like the narration of the story, subtly telling the problems through the seemingly harmless affliction of the character.
Well written and unique in It's balance of depth and darkness vs love and happiness. The final story ends a bit abruptly, but you can see where the author's mind was going.
I actually really loved them. The first story was nice, I read a comment saying that Akio and Haru are brothers, so I'll have to read it again. It kinda makes sense though. I wanted to beat up the brother. The second one didn't feel rushed to me, actually. It was poetic, too, which was so nice! The third one was okay. The Yui dude got me feeling so weird, like, he felt evil haha so it might be that he's selling the black-haired guy.
The first story is so scary, I don't know how they are a couple. How do they survive? Both of their backstories are tragic as well. So confused about the doriyaki guy, does he see Haru as just a friend?
This might require a few readings before everything comes together, but holy wow--it's freaking awesome. One of the creepiest things I have read in a while. If you look at it as a cohesive story, it's not going to work, but oh wow, it's creepy. Nicely plotted and placed.
1st story was good but it didnot make sense at the end that how he choose his original bf and still i am happy as he made him leave all so he should stick with him. 2nd story was funny i mean wth did they want us to think... 3rd was good i loved open ending why rio cried no one knows and its the best thing
A couple of short stories that have a not so satisfying ending... Like the guy who was abused by his lover coming atound a bakery with a guy who actually cared for him, but in the end choosing to stay with his anusive lover.
