It was weird that the dude didn't notice that she was really out of it during their first encounter. Maybe all his previous sexual partners were druggies or something. Aside from that, it wasn't too bad a story. He definitely had his baggage from trauma (thank God we weren't supposed to feel sorry for him over hurt macho pride), but he wasn't a total jerk. The lawyer, however, was a complete and utter scumbag. If I was the ML, I would have fired him after kicking him down a long flight of stairs.
