Comments of The Spaniard's Marriage Demand

I liked it. Weaving the story into the pilgrimage was well done and gave it additional interest. My only caveat was that the ML was pretty insensitive to other people's feelings while overly sensitive to his own. Showing up after a year and a half and making it clear that sex was the uppermost thing on his mind was, shall we say, a bit clod-like. He might as well have greeted her with, "I'm horny. Oh yeah, I guess I missed you, also." That was definitely the impression. And when he decided she should come with him to Spain the next day, he couldn't wait five minutes for her to consider. A loving relationship of equals doesn't square well with "I want what I want when I want it!" He reminds me of myself when I was barely into my twenties: I knew it all and was always right. My father told me that if I kept the "my way or the highway" attitude any relationship with a woman was going to fail. Thank goodness I took his words and example and got rid of my arrogant delusions! (Mostly, at least.)

Sweet story. The ML was ok. And not a trash. No misunderstanding, no unnecessary drama. All good.. just relaxing story....worth a read.

Didn’t really like ML, he’s too controlling and demanding!!! Hated FL sister, she’s a spoiled brat and thinks she’s better than FL. I want FL sister to be humiliated or just stop acting as if she helped FL with anything, she’s fucking annoying!

Liked the FL. First half of the story was great but it just went down from there. Still better than other harlequins.
