01 April 2024: read till ch 24. I think i am in the minority here. If we got the wife's POV I'm sure we all could sympathise with her. And I'm sympathising with her too much to the point I'm wondering why her two goody shoe husband is hanging out with a guy who is trying to seduce him. I wouldn't have thought much of it if he wasn't portrayed as the saint in this. Actually, I think the author is a genius, every single one of them has flaws. But we can still sympathize with everyone.
1. The wife did a horrible thing as a teen leaving ... her mothers dead bf's kid at an orphanage (when we put it like that does that sound that bad? if they had visited and checked up on him, it wouldn't have been this bad) . She was career driven and put her career before her family (her husband in the beginning was supportive of her so i don't really find fault in her doing this, i don't think we should put a capable woman down for doing what most father's are doing. When a woman does it why do they get vilified? Plus that's how you know its a BL, viewers often won't side with the woman in these genre's)
2. Husband has an inferiority complex. He seems to secretly harbor a grudge against his wife knowingly or unknowingly. He was a good dad to child, and supported his wife too and its understandable how he lost all his feelings for his wife later on. But i do wonder if they even desired each other like that at all. They weren't even intimate for years. How is that normal. He seemed honesty indifferent to his wife until it started to blow up in his face. And now he is starting to get hot in face and feel weird around a a guy who crossdresses and is actively trying to ruin his wife life. Knowing this, he who try to act like the better person is doing a very shit thing being constantly around and allowing these touchy interactions. Wife's anxiousness is completely valid.
3. This dude is old enough, why does he want to exact revenge in this way while saying he wants the best for the husband and the child. If you liked the kid you wouldn't be doing this to the child family. Actively trying to seduce the dad in front of everyone. Thats so yuck.

Idk what this Tenma and Johann AU is but it's already twisty, good good

Edit: no but Seojin is actually so complex wow her and the husband's relationship

I am happy that all of them had their new and happy start and achieved what they all wanted. However it feels like open ending for the couple. I dont know if they got back and hang out as a family but still have romantic feelings each other or they just really want to be like family
