Patiently waiting for keigetsu’s character development, where everyone finally recognises her. I didn’t expect this to be so amazing, it’s an great story of friendship and self discovery. Reirin’s character is so unique she’s so fun to read about, and I’m glad she holds no resentment towards keigetsu, she’s such a girl’s girl also the fact she got the queen to decide consort shu’s fate, such a girl’s girl. When the empress gave that bow to consort shu and the scene of when they were younger came back, and also when the empress wished for her happiness, i cried bruh. I can’t imagine the pressures of being a consort being totally alone and like your one friend you basically lost along with the child you gave birth to. Like i feel for consort shu but at the same time lady keigetsu did not deserve any of that, like she could’ve grown up to be such a strong willed good lady but her personality got so twisted. I really patiently waiting for her character redemption. Also i really really hate the fact that reirin and crown prince are cousins FIRST COUSINS. His mum is literally her mum’s sister. Historical japan was wiiiiilllddd. Also i really hope the eagles captain is male lead, idk but i just can’t deal with the prince, he’s so iffy.

Read ch 20.6, I really hate imperial china set ups because of concubine things. I get it, it happened before in history, but it's really inhumane, lime women are nothing but breeding cattles for powerful men. Anyway, I like the story so far. I wish this was GL and both girls just get away from the palace and just date each other. Men of the palace are too toxic and possessive, and possessive men turns me off.

The story and characters are very good especially the MC (love her mwah). The story takes place in ancient China so I dont really care that the prince and her are closely related (it was common at that time). However I will still give this 3 stars because I believe the shu keigetsu girl or whatever her name is shouldve died. Like did they really expect me to feel pity for her just because of sadass backstory??? Girl is just ignorant and attention sicking btch, girl really expected ppl to love her unconditionaly cause she became someone of high status:v Just because she had difficult past doesnt mean she can go around punishing innocent people (eunuches,maids,...etc). I'm gonna rate this 5 stars ONLY if that btch dies in the near future or becomes a poor commoner again. Cause aint no way I'm forgiving that rat.
