The plot was not that complicated, it's just that the story could've been longer. It didn't end abruptly either, but maybe it's a good story that the ending was quite acceptable. I like that the author did not focus on the cliche love triangle plot, every character had a development that affected the flow of the plot.

2/5 only because they seriously messed up with the pacing. This should've been a much much longer story fleshing everything out, 2 or 3 volumes minimum, I have no idea what the fuck they were thinking. If it was fleshed out it would've been amazing truly but now even the main couple's chemistry isn't believable. It's frustrating to see what would've been a 5/5 go down the drain like this.
