The story was ok. The FL also ok compare to other Harlequin FL. She know when to stop. But only one disappointment it's rushed ending. It's not wrong to be an orphan rite. Actually he should be proud coz he could come to that level without anyone support.

I liked it, but would have enjoyed it more if the ML had received some boots upside the head or reasonable facsimile. He definitely had the "Your pitiful trauma is nothing compared to my suffering" syndrome that seems to be a recurring reason for Harlequin MLs to act like self-centered douchebags. The FL now: she rocked!

That was terrible! The ML is a dick head! The Fl keeps pushing him away bc she knows he will never be serious with her but he keeps trying to convince her to be with him but then a small misunderstanding he pushed her away and broke FL heart!!! I hated the ending bc he told her his said pity story and when he asked her to marry him she literally IMMEDIATELY said yes and I was like he hurted you over and over! FL is stupid!!!
Why do they always make the girl go gaga over the guy. Like it's always the same. At first thry try play hard to get, but eventually they're the first one to get emotional and ended uo falling in love with the guy they barely know, theu probably just horny and confused it with love. And why does the guy always have to be rich and gets what he want. Then the idiot girl always end up agreeing.
All these one shot stories from harlequin mangas.. I admit some stories are durable, but a large percentage of them are just t the same idea, just different in character design.
