Comments of Tonari no Atashi

One of the few shoujo manga where the MC ends up with the 2nd guy; always a pleasure to see since they usually work so damn hard to be loved! Despite the ending, though, I didn't care much for the manga. Maybe I would have liked it more if it weren't for all the added drama with Asou and Kyou's senpai; after a while, I just got annoyed with all the couple issues and wanted Nina to pick somebody so the manga would end lol.

i love Miyake Shun, he is totally like prince.you must read it.

FL is desperate and clingy. Needs to get a life before she gets a boyfriend. At least she doesn't end up with the guy who ignored her until he got jealous.

I am really happy she got together with the second male lead. It’s so rare because in most stories I have read the main character always gets back together or be with the male lead. Even though it’s not one of my favorites to read because the back and forth misunderstanding and miscommunication, I definitely want to give points for the story having the second male lead troupe sailed successfully.

WHAT THE ENDING?! WHATT. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I'VE READ A MANGA THAT ENDED LIKE THAT. I also thought I wanted to read something like that. But it's painful. Kyou-chan and her really had mutual feelings. But They both misunderstood each other. Honestly,if you like someone tell them. Don't don't tell them, there might be a chance you'll get accepted or reject. Try you luck. Don't date other people, you'll only hurt them. Especially when you're in a pinch of despair love. It's selfish to accept someone's confession and think you can learn to like or love. I mean you can try but sometimes it's better to not hurt the person you accepted :(

Im still piss. I honestly wish she didn't end up with Miyake-kun. I'm sorry but I prefer if she went with Kyou-chan. Or she didn't went with anyone at all. But I like how the plot ended. Really unexpected. Wasn't called for

A very good manga in several aspects.
The story is rich in content and flavour. It has several distinct interesting story lines. There is the school environment of several different schools. There are several love relationships, partially affecting and influencing each other. There is a lot of sports coverage. And many more. And of course a lot of struggling to become adults.
There are many deeply detailed characters with very interesting developments. None of them really feels stereotypical or boring.
The mood is more on the melancholic or even sad side. Thus there are quite a few moments where you might feel like crying. There are a few funny moments, though, of which the most are just funny and not some stupid slapstick, as it happens so often in lesser quality Shōjo.
The manga on the whole is a great deviation off the beaten track, while staying true to the genre. Expect some surprises.
Finally, the artwork is on an above average level, very suitable to the covered subject.
In my opinion simply the best of the finished works of Nanba sensei.
