Painful. Not entirely a happy ending. Nothing got resolved in the end and the only thing I agreed with is the last sentence from the father "we are only driven by natural instincts". It has a lot of layers to it but by what I can understand, their love right now might just be temporary. Which is why it's not a happy ending for me.
