i read this story recently, and i like it. the art is beautiful, and the story line either. i just hope their relationship will last forever, wish they all the best. xiao bai is too cute, i really want to pinch his cheeks. but, why the hell the great grandmother is so annoying?

At the beginning of the story, the heir’s grandpa is sick and dying, so he remembers the girl, find very convenient to be the new owner of a child he fathered but never knew or cared for, and because he’s overwhelmingly rich and powerful, the girl comply and go live without them a pair of month to let the kid be used to the new environment before she’s chased out (how on earth does that go without even a debate , that’s a plot hole as deep as Marianne’s trenches!) Then, the heir, acts like she’s a piece of scum (he’s the biggest victim remember), but he also likes to toy with her, bully her, scare her and make her obey his whims (like how she has to sleep in the same bed, while she’s still supposed to move away ! - but he also helps her and he’s kind at time : when she’s an obedient puppy that is - he’s also super jealous and possessive despite having no legitimacy at any claims on her private life, and abundantly uses her maternity to make her comply In a psy book, that should qualify for a serious mental disease (he’s at the very least a narcissist pervert or something) But don’t forget, these is a Chinese « romance « , or more precisely a lesson of abuse for girls
