Ch 1: MC knows his guy friend likes him and dislikes it... because he's in denial that he likes the guy back and feels he's not worthy of the guy's love. 6/10 Ch 2: a story about a rumor of a girl running away from home whoring herself out. ML wants to find and "rescue" the girl and live a happily ever after with her. He just likes the idea of being a "hero" and "the hero gets the girl". MC hates the girl because the ML likes her. A story on how self-absorbed these 2 idiots are that they don't even consider the feelings of others. 5/10 Ch 3-4, 8: title story. A narcissist's childhood bff steals the number one spot in his heart. Cute and fluffy. 8/10 Ch 5: Orchestramates falling in love with each other despite one of them being married already. Just fine, it's unique because the characters are oldies. 5/10 Ch 6: True love comes with hate and loving the person over all the things you hate about the person. 8/10 Ch 7: Gender should just go away. 9/10 Average: 6.8/10 (rounded to 4 stars)

However, so is everyone else around him; and he knows that his business partner and old friend, Enoki, is no exception. Toma doesn't blame him. After all, he is only the most brilliant, beautiful, and all-around perfect person to ever walk the face of the Earth! Who wouldn't fall for him? Weirdly enough, Enoki is convinced that Toma returns his feelings. This deserves a better score. The stories were really refreshing. Outshines a lot of other works in this genre. The author does a really detailed job in showing human nature with a few pages. When the stories have angst, it’s not unnecessarily gory or depressing to the fullest just to add shock value. It’s real. When it has a happy ending, it doesn’t overdue that either. I love this author.
