≪✿✿≫ I ever wondered why Takagi didn't get affected / heat by Haruto's pheromones in Ch.3, why he didn't mark him after making love in Ch.4 to protect him from other Alphas, or why he's nonchalant or had held back his feeling for this long..
All is clear in Ch.5, he's a Beta despite holding qualifications of an Alpha, so he's humble that he can't be his "Fated Pair". Oh dear.. You absolutely have a heart of gold!
≫➤ Anyway Takagi can't mark but he can bond Haruto by having a baby to make him can't be marked by any other Alphas. So it'll be great to get afterward of many years later that they've a baby to assure they're HEA.

BUT what made it interesting is it's set in a world of betas. Quite rare since I only see a "soulmate this, hierarchy that" world. But this uptake where an irregularity like an omega lives in this totally ordinary and normal town connects omegaverse world to the reality more. It's like mangaka dropped an omega in a very slice-of-life-ish manga and I am able to see the perspective of the ordinary people living their normal lives. That, I appreciate.

This one makes my heart ache a bit.... the MC is an omega who has just an awful life. I kept wondering why they keep bringing up "but I'm a guy".... dude this is omegaverse. Who the hell cares that you are a guy??? And another thing! When the hell did they make the seme a beta??? i liked this. the seme is extremely respectful and helpful. i am happy they are happy with each other but it sucks that the seme isn’t an alpha ONLY because he can’t permanently mark him so his pheromones won’t be suppressed. i will say idc if your dating, married, a prostitute, etc. just because someone lets you touch them one or more that does not mean you always have permission. the teacher raped a student and i am so happy that the seme stood up for the uke. i assume the parents are supportive and even though his mom left him she waited till he was mature, i think she would approve. in the end, this was a good omegaverse with a consent and development of feelings.

The story was well-built, what I am after for is the consequences of the two abusers of Sakurano and the victim-blamer ex-girlfriend.
