I love how realistic the teenagers are in the story, the number of mistakes they make. The way yuri almost makes the same mistake again with jearim is so human, just because he saw jearim for more than his looks doesn’t automatically resolve his trauma. He’s used to seeing things only surface level and believing what is presented to him, if not for dong-gyung he would have just repeated history. I’m glad he could snap out of it and realize what was more precious to him. The couple that are obsessed with each other’s looks are a match, I don’t like their dynamic or basis of the relationship but they work and that’s fine. Kinda like seeing two toxic people that understand that love each other. And the other couple that were both “otakus” their relationship started rocky but they’ll be fine. And that ex president would just have to move on no matter what the bottom is too much of a free spirit

holy hell, this was a very beautiful and complex read. the side couples were amazing, except for one. I like how confident the MC was, and that he didn’t allow insecurities to subdue him. There were unnecessary SA scenes

First of all, I think that, for 2013, this is a masterpiece, yet we are now in 2026, and thirteen years later, unfortunately this manhwa has not aged very well. I absolutely loved it because of the topics it talked about such as low self-esteem, traumatic events, beauty standards, body dysmorphia, among other sensitive topics. However, I accept that the way it managed and developed conflicts associated to those topics was at most times carelessly done. There were some unnecessary fights or conflicts that did not add anything to the story. The main couple is cute, although it has its ups and downs, they always demonstrated they love for each other sincerely (and with a bit of toxicity sometimes). The other three side couples, on the other hand, are another story. The only one I fully liked was Yumin and Dohoo, the last one having his redemption arc and helping the couple become an OTP. Then we have Dunno and Kang. To be honest, what the f was that? I needed more development; I honestly feel that something is missing. They introduced the couple and then ignored it like it was nothing. Really disappointing. Finally we have Aerak and Heeno, which was painful to watch. I was waiting for them to open up and express their true feelings and desires and fears, but all we had was a scene where Aerak was a tiger (?). That was so out of place. I kinda liked the couple, but what I could notice from the author is the lack of effort they put in the side couples. They just appear out of nowhere and they make us believe they are perfect for each other. In real life, that is absolutely impossible and ridiculous. Overall a sweet manhwa, indeed really psychological (it inflicted psychological damage in me reading it and obsessing over couples that ended up in nothing), but it is really obvious what year it was written.

i remember reading this like 2 years ago and i really liked it. i actually rmemeber i loved tjis webtoon so much i reallt loved the characters and the dynamic and i thought theybwere adorable untillll the ending when the mc was getting saed and the ml blamed him and never even properly apologized.. or maybe he did i dont remmebe ri jsut remmebered it wasnt enough for me i dont remmeber what happened after thay i just remmebered crying from frustration i was SO MAD AND SO UPSET because of that it ruined the wholr thing for me which made me so upset bc i LOVED this story up until that part. it was so uncesscary and i wil forever hate this story and this author for it you literally coyld not pay me to rereaf this im still mad
