This is a gender bender. Mc took over her dead twin brother's place. Her bro was very sickly so it was normal for him to die first but the family wasnt accepting that. Mc's father immediately made mc take her bro's place as the heir but never taught her any succession education. Only taught her to become a knight and pursue swordmanship. Now that mc finally works at a knight squadron, she has lil bit of freedom. But still she was stationed to help the stunted cursed duke who seems to be cursed by his mother. But after staying by the dukes side, mc inexplicably helped duke break his curse step by step. Firstly was when duke was jealous of how mc truly missed and loved her twin bro, secondly was when duke kissed her hand of his own violition, third was when he made mc blush by sharing a kiss and now all they're doing is striking a deal that everytime duke kisses her, mc will gain one wish that duke will do his best to make it come true. Tho mc seems really reluctant to choose who to rely on bcuz mc also seems to want the crown prince, a literal handsome man but loves to exploit ppl for help to escape her family's influence. Duke repeatedly told mc duke would help her too. So currently crown prince and duke both wanna help mc. Also despite crown prince being next in line for the throne, the king dont trust crown prince much bcus he's afraid of giving up the throne. Anyways mc's father is really a big control freak and the milk brother of her dead twin bro was even worse. He kept trying making advances at mc while at the same time, always puts her down and humiliates her. He enjoys making her suffer cuz he always blames mc for whatever misfortune he suffers. Also technically cuz mc was loved by her bro. Making that guy feel like mc was his rival
