Carlisto...Carlisis...Carlistle... And then I just kept reading the name as Charlize. At some point it appeared that he had a half-sister by that name, but no matter. Well, it went a bit crazy, the plot, with very strange holes, like completely forgetting that Charlize, or anyone else for that matter, can just be sniped with an arrow. It's like they forgot bows was even a thing. Or the priest being lured in some sort of a biga** tower and the hundreds of people were sitting quietly, not even coughing, no floorboards creaking, nothing at all and the priest not noticing. Similar things kept throwing me off and making me laugh, but it was a pretty good read in general.

I was attracted in the beginning but towards the end I can only say, it was a waste of time. It is too surface level with no depth to any character. I found asha cool and that was my motive but idk it's like the boyfriend effect happened and it was not her story anymore. Maybe if never was but idk. She won the war is the premise and yet sigh. I feel bad for her. What a waste tchtch

Loved the art, characters were intriguing and the story at first was really interesting then slowed down. I do enjoy romance but in the later chapters it felt forced just to drag it on. In these types of story that fanatic "religious" sect always use their "gods" as reason to punish the weak and are hella greedy. As well as the damn nobles that are always fucking greedy and think for themselves, it pisses me off every time but I appreciate that reality aspect in these types of stories. I'll admit that I love to see those types of people get punished and die but our reality just keeps them around which sucks. Still enjoyed the read, Asha's and Carlisle's kid is hella cute, wished to of seen more instead of just one chapter, and maybe showed Count Donovan and Dorothy maybe with a child as well and everyone just spending time together. Plus last chapter was not necessary, they should of done a gender swap instead of "status" swap especially since they changed the sex of Dufret, I think that would of been way more interesting.
Enjoyed the read up until chapter 60+ after that I was just happy it was almost over.
