vv disappointed in this one. IT STARTED OFF SO DELICIOUSLY. fl was def a little naive but not plain out stupid. ml was hawt. ml was green flag. ml is green flag. i didnt like how the story transpired though. at times i wanted to plot to hurry up and other times i wished they slowed it down to explain more. it just felt like a mess and a rush. like... the rebellion plot was squashed so quickly it was kind of like what's the point of being mentioned. they ran away so quickly i didnt even see it coming. went right over how fl and ml became emperor and empress. didnt show me how the kids were until they were already grown.
IT WAA SO SCRUMDILLYUPMTIOUS AT THE BEGINNING. then it died near the middle (60-something). BUT I LOVED HOW DESPERATE ML WAS FOR FL. 10/10 YEARNING!!!
