This comic was amazing. I went into it expecting a sweet slice-of-life about two boys falling in love (and honestly I'm not a big fan of that trope) but was surprised to find how in-depth each character was, how thoughtful their relationships with each other were, how the story wasn't a simple romance and was instead one that considered how toxic relationships develop and placed importance on fixing these relationships. From what seemed like a simple BL I didn't expect this level of detail, but I ended up being pleasantly surprised by what I read. I binged this entire comic in two days, that's how much I enjoyed reading Lost in the Cloud. There were stakes to the comic that didn't seem unreasonable, plot twists that had me hooked, deep and thoughtful backstories that led me to sympathize with characters like Skylar and Cirrus (mostly Skyler because he's my goat :D) and most importantly, a relationship that really stuck with me. I am truly amazed by this comic and its ability to do all these things, and I think it deserves more praise than I can give. I recommend this comic to anyone who is looking for a BL that deals with psychological ideas like the toxicity of relationships and the growth from past traumas. Five stars!!!
