I can’t express how much i adore this series from its small nods to history like the stonewall riots. You can just tell the love that was put into this. I will forever and always love these series with all my heart, my dearest love. It checks all the boxes i ever ask for in a manga…i would give it 10 stars out of 5 if i could..I would willingly give my life for another volume or just more historical yaoi from this goat of an author <3

I Def liked the first volume better then the ending of the second. It was so emotional and heartfelt a beautiful story. With great characters but esp Trevor (the blond one). He is so supportive, respectful and kind. They have such a supportive healthy relationship. (In a realistic sense) Trevor is my favourite ofc. But after reuniting it's just a bit flat. It leaves on a open ending which left me dissatisfied. FFS Gene is 37 why is he asking a teenager for advice like seriously (I get it's supposed to be humorous but come on) also when Gene was like oh we are middle-aged we can't be impulsive anymore ugh

what a story.

lots of readers kept questioning why it took years (ion wanna spoil), their dynamic is so realistic that it somehow left a lasting impression on me. its genuinely beautiful, tho one itch i wish the author couldve scratched is Gene coming back for his parents and siblings :( i wish he did, they nevers stopped him from leaving and even said they'll always welcome him w open arm. i need a PERSPECTIVE on this, i feel bittersweet.
