The fact is that the old guy was a coward, if he wanted revenge he should’ve put himself in jail instead of stalking the survivors of the other victims to make them “arrows” he’s a bow because he doesn’t have to face the target directly, only shoot things at it. He stalked a child for 15 years to get revenge for him- when all that time could’ve been to kill the serial killer. I understand his family is gone but he made 5 people throw their life away for his obsession, he basically ruined two childrens life- indirectly on one. they had a bright futures (even though one already showed signs of being crazy) and he ruined them for his revenge. One is in jail with severe issues that he literally came back from the dead STILL trying to fight the guy who killed Jim the first time and the other a ticking time bomb that can kill at any moment. They will never be normal again, the thing is neither of them even think of what will be different after the task is over because in reality the old guy doesn’t care what happens. They can do chapters of sob stories talking about “oh we sinned- we messed up” but they make no effort to stop it, because they’re cowards.
