Interesting at first but quickly gets trite and juvenile once the mc turns back into a human. I can understand karhan liking the bird, but the human that the bird turns into acts more like an alien than a human. I don't know how anybody could be attracted to that. The story is also very bad about deus ex machina. It doesn't introduce things early and then use them later, it just introduces things whenever it needs a problem solved. Also, the main character is pretty much a useless layabout. He's not smart, he's not athletic, he doesn't really do anything but get in the way and whine over dumb stuff. He gets teary-eyed at nearly any stimulus. It's tiresome. They also had to change his appearance for the "another world!" because his character design in the real world was too ugly for a top as high quality as karhan to like.

I do like that his bird form was related to the bird he saved in the real world helping him out or something like that, that's neat. I wish they had introduced his abusive family and bad school life at the beginning before he went to the "another world" so that it didn't feel as tacked on as it probably was.

it was good at first i like the concept of the story but i don't really like his human form, i get that his bird form is white so his human form is also white but his human form is so ugly im sorry everyone is pretty except mc huhu his original human self is cute too but i don't like the white human form also what happened to doel? he's the original lover so i feel bad for him
