Mamoru genuinely should've been executed. He left when Aoi when was begging for help when they were younger and then he comes back to try and make up, sucking up to him like nothing happened??? He finally admits he was in the wrong but in the 5th chapter, he had shown his true colors. The professor wasn't wrong saying Mamoru just wanted him cause he was an omega, like a token or pawn almost. It took Mamoru until the very end to admit that as well and he was still a dick and Aoi should have never apologized to him. The plot in this is absolutely cracked out, they make a character seem unforgiving and then make the opposite in the next chapter??! I recommend not reading this one, at least, **in one go** because it's insufferable for the first 4 chapters. Once you come back a day or two after to finish, it gets partially better but not enough in my mind to earn 4 stars. Cliché ending but I think I'm so desensitized to so much that I turn a blind eye to all these topics that are so commonplace between every yaoi manga. I would note that this is perfect for being one of those short 5 chapter stories because I personally don't think there was anything else to add by the end (except for Mamorus execution) and the extras were quite nice. It would've been better with mpreg scenes and not just the stupid babies but I am starting to ask for too much. Beautiful art and I only wish for better plots next time lol
