Got super hooked into it when season 1 was aired and headed to read the rest during the week I was sick with chicken pox. Though I can't exactly perfectly recall all chapters with clarity (its been two years), I still vividly remember being engrossed into the world-building and the cast. They have a neat dynamic going on, with each holding their own background stories that could explain their choices and behavior from the previous chapters.
Dungeon Meshi is my favorite type of story where it's slice of life and comedy until it hits you with the feels. They all have their own agendas and wishes, a reason why they still stuck together – eventually building a found family. I just love these kinds of stories. Also, the art is gorgeous. Hope to read the extras soon!
