i truly wish this could’ve been a bit longer but tbh it’s still such a good length and really hits the points it needs to - they didn’t love each other anymore and that’s ok considering the suffering they both endured - that makes u stronger or separates u and they u fortunately fell out of love; he tried to save her out of love but in the end that wasn’t enough to overcome multiple deaths and insurmountable fear and anxiety over her life ending too soon again - he continued to look back on their past and hold onto something that no longer existed, adding on to both of their suffering
yes they both hid the fact that they knew the truth but idk how much that would’ve changed things and maybe it shows that their love as earnest as it first was, wasn’t meant to last 15 lifetimes and the people they became
she realized that even if they could break the curse, she’d always b confined and have to “look over her shoulder” for danger living w orpheus - even if he didn’t love her anymore, he didn’t want to b responsible for her death again after already asking to save her multiple times
cheating is never right but it makes so much sense for eurydice to look for some kind of catharsis - she found comfort in someone else as well as tried to get orpheus to feel something for her other than guilt, responsibility, worry
while her cheating was temporary relief, the only way to truly escape was to die permanently
maybe the curse broke bc she realized how to get him to stop looking back and had the resolve to end their tragic cycle
