MY REVIEW SO FAR:
It's an OK read. The pacing is super fast and sometimes you wonder if you missed a chapter or something. However it got me hooked since I wanna see how MC fares in his second chance at life. The Harem or the girls who like MC are ok. At least they're not clingy and know their position and situation. The don't force themselves on MC and lets him choose what he wants to do. I personally don't like Harem but it seems Harem is just a thing when it comes to murim and these types of stories because it showcase the power of men and women as their prize of sort... sucks but at least MC is not an asshole so imma let it go.

RECAP LAST CHAPTER READ:
C42 the new magistrate imprisoned MC under his uncle's orders (who MC took the courtesan from because he knew she would have a tragic life after her first night with that fat ass old pig). While it prison MC tries to work out a plan to counter the new magistrate. The new magistrate brought in false witnesses for a trial and the Martial Art Sect that MC had previously had a beef with. MC was able to threaten an official and made him handle the
trial and the fake witnesses... meanwhile the enemy bitch from the martial sect wreaked havoc and seems to have fatally wounded or killed many of MC's men. Including his friend who he saved from his doomed fate, the guy with the mole under his nose.
