Bro this had a lot of potential. this couldve explore on more how people who are dealing with doubtness and using god as an escape, on how whether or not you believe in god your action is still your choices so no blaming and leaving it to god to deflect taking accountability. and the queer theme actually not bad but not in how this story execute it..........that was toxic the modern au is somewhat better although vince shouldve gone to therapy instead of having pleasures relief from hot young priest...but you do you king... ig. this couldve explored closeted queer and how also being in post-war environment make people act and stuff yk. this really couldve have been a really good psychology story with good representation.

A somewhat dark story of a man who loses his family after returning from war, becomes a priest and meets "god". However this God is not as he seems and changes many things, but is it for better, for worse or just for his own amusement?
There are some panels where the god is shown to look like a spider and then toward the end he's a fox. I wonder if its meant to show that the god is a story weaver, tricky and neither good nor evil. Just kind of doing whatever he feels like in the moment to toy with humans, and potentially grow the religion based around "him" (I don't think hes the real god, but I definitely think hes something akin to one)

It is interesting in that the art is not only delicious but also that there are many ways we could interpret this story in the way we individually view religion, its taboos and the beliefs that come with it. Im gonna have to keep mulling over this one tho because I didnt bring my thinking cap when I started reading this. Good stuff tho minus the gang rape (ew) and the "God" x priest smexualtivities (double ew) happening all round.
