Manny became a gang member after the loss of his brother. He works for Angela who is the mafia boss in Dieger. Her right hand mand Sean Miller, is a cold blooded killer, who walks around and kills anyone who might become a threat to Angela. One evening Miller brings the news that Manny's partner is dead. Angela makes Miller Manny's new partner and puts them to the task to collect the missing weapons. But while on the hunt on the missing weapons, Manny secretly works for a Detective in pursuing Miller. And while Miller is suspicious of Manny being a traitor in a different manner they can't seem to reject the sparks between them. while all this is going on a brutal killer is on the run, and no one knows who it is, except maybe one do and maybe the killer is in fact closer than what any would expect.

i have always digged the idea of similars attract. murder husbands are also a genre i really love.
sean and manny probably weren't the best examples of muder husbands cause they choose 'being better' while usually this sub genre is doomed but i know sometimes that's just how stories go and that they deserve eachother, relatively.

Somehow i understand why Sean couldn't be mad over all the trace he found on Manny body. Because they're not officially dating yet! Ofc there's a reason behind why both Sean & Manny can't make it official. Huft!

This is really really good. Sean is played off as this cyborg, but the story reveals how human he truly is, while Manny’s nature is also revealed is done so well. I want them to be happy. Everyone here just has such fucked up circumstances that’s a cycle of hell and torment.
