consider reading webnovels, they're doing fuckin whatever out there

This is like one of my favourites. It’s gory n the story sets in the underworld(hell). It starts off w the MC selling his soul to a demon…too eat his flesh The demon liked him quite a lot n decided to take care of him (like a mentor) in the underworld. Idk MC kinda fcked up, but I rly enjoyed the story:

Now you’ve probably seen a lotta isekai stories where the MC gets trapped in a novel or game…but have you ever read abt an MC getting trapped in a horror game? Anyway, there’s sm interesting twists and I looooveeeee my goth MC(another kinda unique thing):
https://www.mangago.me/read-manga/dreadful_night/

To step away from horror, I have this adorable plot. It’s basically abt MC having a friend who glows. They glow sm that bro can’t even c his face. Idk, it’s light, it’s cute:
https://www.mangago.me/read-manga/my_hot_friend_is_glowing/

This is less ‘BL’ n more realistically gay. It’s rly good. The 2 MCs r so cuuutteee. It’s quite realistic in a way that not all LGBT folks can be proud and free because of various circumstances: https://www.mangago.me/read-manga/smells_like_green_spirit/

This one is super unique n ended up being super sweet. MC is trapped in a hotel w the person he likes…but there are duplicates of him…w different personalities:
https://www.mangago.me/read-manga/hotel_phryne/

I found this unique bcs it dealt w angels and an MC who has been reincarnated as a human w an extreme phobia of touching n being touched (I’m sorry I forget the phobia name). I found it cute, tho there was a grapey scene I didn’t like. It had NO reason to b added n honestly, I’d like to forget abt that bit. Jst ignore the ‘side: heavy rain’ n skip the sex scene from ch. 58:

There’s more that I’ve read, but they’re ongoing so. Anyway, hope you like my recs

I can leave here some that I liked! (Some are shounen ai tho, hope that's okay)

ALTHOUGH, I need to preface this by saying that I've read so much stuff that my definition of green flag is lowkey just a guy who doesn't SA his crush, cus reading yaoi was tough back then, your options were re-reading, SA, or incest

Just went through my have read list and picked some that I thought possibly fit the bill, if you've read all these, congrats! You are me, and I am you. If you've read them but didn't like all of them, then, idk, maybe we're cousins, or some shit??

I also agree with the person above who recc'd webnovels! You should go on novelupdates, (create an account), and enjoy some utter nonsense. The one I finished reading recently that I think fits the bill is this one: https://www.novelupdates.com/series/after-spectating-gossip-the-entertainment-industry-thinks-im-a-big-shot/ (it's a comedy where nothing bad ever happens to the protag while he climbs his way to the top)

tysm guys!!
