Overall this was a great read, really loved the main couple and the side couple ( chu and huan wen). I just wish the other side couple got less screen time because I genuinely couldn’t give less of a shit abt an old man and a misogynist red head.

I absolutely adore this series. I read it when I was in middle school and 8 years later, I find myself rereading and falling in love with more and more aspects of the story that I can relate to now that I'm an adult. I can't recommend this series enough. The art is beautiful. The characters feel real, they're complex and frustrating and you can't help but want the best for them even when they do something you wish they hadn't. Lovely storytelling that doesn't shy away from the queer experience and how homophobia impacts budding relationships. 10/10 no notes!
