Hits me fucking hard at some points tbh this is a very sensitive topic for me !!!! I'm not gonna elaborate or I'll start crying. It's good. I was skeptical at first, but it's good. He's surprisingly trying to improve the country instead of just his family. Very endearing. Extra points for pointing out what the Japanese ppl did back then (bc let's be honest, the mangas obv don't even acknowledge that period or glaze them and the manhwas barely mentions them). It was a horrible time and eventho modern Japan is not like that today, their ancestors committed horrible atrocities to a lot of countries(esp SEA). Idk why I'm suddenly going on a tangent about this, I just thought that part where Minseok arrived to Japan and feels that deep anger was neat. If he started crashing out right there in the streets thinking of his family back home, I wouldn't blame him one bit.
Early rating js cos I like it, 9/10!
