This was so ducking cute, I shed a tear when our ikegami almost died — it would have been just as good of an ending if he did die literally right after he had the chance to leave his duties to be in the army.
But I like how it ended where both our teacher and ikegami lives together happily ever after and they can actually imagine a life together, they have a future :)
