Actually, I think he did find out. Or he suspected it, but then it wasn’t confirmed. So it seems to be one of those, “I’ve already decided what I know. You’re denying it but I don’t believe you. But, I’m not going to say I don’t believe you, I’m just gonna keep bulldozing forward with what I think is true.” Situations.
I'm super slow, but I don't think Mr. Guk knows, isn't he know James because that's thing that they do in the basement, Mr. Han will not kissed Mr. Guk so they made a "play", that Mr. Guk is different person and his name is James. So Mr. Guk is holding that persona to be intimate with Han, but I may be wrong
Maybe, why use the name from the book though? The MC wrote that scenario down in the book. He used that name in the book he wrote. Now suddenly that name is being used by the ML. There were other things too prior to them kissing. I’ll have to go back and reread that part before I can point it out clearly
Mr Guk is way dumber than you give him credit for, they show him in the comments on the novel saying “um who is James, where’s Mr Guk?!” Then getting mad that someone “spoiled the novel for him” he’s not great at putting two and two together
